By accessing this Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1) Research Use Only

All products sold by PepperLabz are intended strictly for laboratory and research purposes only. Our products are not for human or animal consumption, medical use, therapeutic use, diagnostic use, or clinical use. You agree not to use any product in a manner inconsistent with these Terms.

You represent and warrant that you are purchasing products for lawful research purposes and that you have the knowledge and facilities to handle research materials safely and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

2) Age Requirement (21+)

You must be 21 years of age or older to access this Site and/or purchase from PepperLabz. By using this Site and/or completing checkout, you confirm you are 21+.

3) Order Acceptance & Right to Refuse Service

All orders are subject to acceptance by PepperLabz. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, limit, or hold any order at our discretion, including but not limited to situations involving:

  • suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions
  • pricing or listing errors
  • inaccurate or incomplete customer information
  • orders that appear inconsistent with lawful research use
  • inventory limitations

If we cancel an order after payment is received, we will issue a refund to the original payment method when possible.

4) Product Information & Availability

We attempt to display product descriptions and images accurately. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, or other content are error-free or complete. Product availability may change without notice.

5) Pricing, Taxes, and Promotions

Prices are shown in USD and may change at any time. Prices do not include shipping unless stated. Any applicable taxes are calculated at checkout when required.

Promotions and coupon codes may be changed or discontinued at any time and may be subject to additional rules (including exclusions and expiration).

6) Payments & Billing

Payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors (for example, Stripe). PepperLabz does not store full credit card numbers. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information.

If a payment is declined or reversed, we may cancel or hold the order.

7) Shipping Policy (Summary)

Shipping Rate: Flat-rate shipping of $5.75 (unless otherwise stated).
Free Shipping: Free shipping on orders $99+ (before taxes; [choose one] before or after discounts).
Processing & Shipment: Orders placed before 4:00 PM PST are typically processed for shipment the same day (business days). Orders placed after the cutoff, on weekends, or holidays may ship the next business day.
Delivery Times: Transit times are estimates and not guaranteed. Carrier delays are outside our control.
Address Accuracy: You are responsible for entering a complete, accurate shipping address. If an order is returned due to an incorrect/undeliverable address, additional fees may apply to reship.

Risk of Loss: Title and risk of loss pass to you when the shipment is tendered to the carrier.

8) Returns, Refunds, and Order Issues

Due to the nature of our research materials and consumables, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.

Exceptions (Order Issues Only): If you receive (a) the wrong item, (b) a damaged item, or (c) an order with missing contents, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of:

  1. the shipping box (including the label)
  2. packing materials
  3. the product(s) and any visible damage (if applicable)

If your claim is confirmed, we may, at our discretion, offer a replacement or store credit. Refunds are issued only when a replacement is not possible.

We do not provide refunds or replacements for issues caused by improper storage, handling, or any use inconsistent with Research Use Only.

9) Chargebacks & Disputes

If you have an issue with an order, you agree to contact us first so we can attempt to resolve it. Unnecessary chargebacks increase costs and may result in restrictions on future purchases.

We may provide order documentation (including shipping confirmation, delivery confirmation, and communications) to the payment processor when responding to disputes.

10) Account, Checkout, and Customer Responsibility

You agree not to misuse the Site or attempt unauthorized access. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (if you create an account) and for all activities that occur under your account.

11) Prohibited Use

You agree you will not:

  • use products for human/animal consumption or clinical/therapeutic use
  • resell products where prohibited by law
  • violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • use the Site for fraudulent purposes or to interfere with Site functionality

12) Intellectual Property

All content on this Site (text, images, graphics, logos, layouts) is owned by PepperLabz or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

13) Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEPPERLABZ DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

14) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEPPERLABZ WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR PRODUCTS.

IN NO EVENT WILL PEPPERLABZ’S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT(S) GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

15) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PepperLabz and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or products, violation of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party rights.

16) Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use information.

17) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
